I eat a mostly fish and vegetarian diet. For the record. Anyway, this is going to sound stupid because it always sounds stupid, but my grandfather a couple of times removed is a rhinelord. A sort of faerie. And I'm more that than I usually look.

I didn't learn illusions here, is what I mean.

I see. I've heard stories within this world of that type of creature -- though I imagine it is an exaggeration of the truth. Especially those that crop up in fairy tales. So perhaps you could enlighten me more about what this means?

Not much, day to day. As far as I know there aren't any faerie courts around to complicate matters, and I'm a relative novice in terms of what I can do. Generally speaking it means I have different physiological needs which aren't anybody's problem and I have some elemental magic. If you find me charming, though, it's probably because of what I am and not my personality.

And if you're ever anywhere handy to fresh water and you'd like to not be there in a hurry, I can travel between any fresh water sources in the world. If no one's tampering with them.

I find you bright, intelligent and valuable. And I'd like to hope those are the traits of your personality and not your glamor. But all jokes aside, that is useful to know.

Define fresh water sources -- does the water have to be of a certain purity? We would be hard pressed to find something without the slightest bit of pollution.

A natural water source that isn't salt water - it doesn't have to be pure, but I will ask for hazard pay if it was really gross because I spend a lot of money to have hair this nice. I don't do the ocean. But lakes and rivers and things, as long as they aren't manmade.

So I should not expect you to come out of the tap any time soon? Good to know.

But can you use those fresh water sources to also see your surroundings? For example, could you utilize it for spying purposes?

I don't think so. I don't know how I would, anyway. I can't hear anything properly from underwater and I'd be right there, so it's not very subtle. And if you've ever looked through water, it's sort of blurry from underneath.

It was a question worth asking. Sometimes the abilities of others can defy all logistics and physics. But I will be certain to try and choose only the cleanest of water sources for extraction, should the need arise.
